C.A.R.D.S. (Committee for Airline Reservations Distribution Systems)

C.A.R.D.S. 'is an organisation who's membership is made up of members of the Airline Industry and especially those areas of  Industry involved in 'Distribution and Electronic commerce'.

In addition to Airline membership, we also have members from GDS's (Global Distribution Systems) and other Travel Technology companies.

The organisation meets three to four times a year, usually in London, England at venues which are conveniently reached from Heathrow Airport.

The Objectives of C.A.R.D.S.

1.- To represent the interests of member airlines in achieving optimum distribution of their product and services through Automated Distribution Systems.

2.- To encourage technological research and development in the field of automated distribution for the benefit of the Airline and Travel Industry.

3.- To educate members in respect of current systems and future developments.

C.A.R.D.S. is a platform which is used by member airlines and GDS to discuss industry related issues, to update members of new products and to bring forward policies and changes which are beneficial to its members.
